Well, it's been a while since the last update, but we really don't have too much to report this time. We've been taking it easy lately and just hanging around London - we have one more trip planned before we come home in for Christmas, so we've been saving up.

Well, it's been almost three years since we moved here, and Jill the Mexican girl has only recently found a Mexican restaurant that delivers to our house. So she's been making up for lost time and getting it delivered on Sunday nights while we watch NFL.

We've made a lot of new American friends lately. OBR hooked us up with Andrew and Kelly, and we met Jeremy, Katy, Rino, and Beth through them. They're all over here working for a few years. It turns out that Andrew and Kelly are Alabama alumni, and Jeremy and Katy are Bama fans. So we all got together at Bodean's for a Bama game. We met lots of SEC fans there - Tennessee, Auburn, and LSU. It was nice to sing Rammer Jammer at Bodean's and Sweet Home Alabama at the Sports Cafe. We have now officially started the Alabama Alumni in London club.

What else? We saw Ashlee Simpson after her performance in the West End show Chicago. We carved pumpkins again with Justin and Rachel - a tradition we've been keeping up for three years now. Jill surprised me with tickets to Saw 3 which we both thought was the best one yet.

Jill's been keeping herself busy lately. She had a "girl's day out" with her new girl friends last Sunday. They all had brunch at the Chelsea Bun, shopped around Kings Road, and went to Camden Market. She also had a modeling photo shoot for Wonderbra. They unveiled a new bra for the Christmas season that can be worn 100 different ways. Jill participated in the shoot on the steps of the National Gallery, and lots of newspaper photographers were there snapping pictures like paparazzi. She was in the newspapers for the next two days.

We went to the Discover Dogs show at Earl's Court last weekend and saw over 180 breeds! Some of our favorites were the Afghan Hound (beautiful long hair), Chinese Crested (hair only on the head and feet - pictured), and the Hungarian Puli (looks like a mop). We also got to see some dog competitions and training techniques - Levi, we need to talk!

Here's a disturbing story for you - I hear some people talking in the common area of our flat one morning and one sounds like our landlord. So when they knock on my door, I open it thinking the landlord let them in the common area anyway. I see three guys in the hall and my landlord is nowhere to be found. So I ask them who let them in, and they calmly say that they broke in the door. OK, so I'm backing up into my flat at this point ready to shut and lock the door... Then they ask me if I know who lives in flat 4 and if I have a key. I tell them it's our landlord and that he should be home later that day. This conversation is going on while one of the guys is trying to pick his lock.

So I tell them that I don't think it's a good idea for them to be picking his lock, but they show me a warrant (not that I would know if it was fake or not). Anyway, they are the guys that break in when people don't pay their gas bill. The problem is that they are from the wrong company, so I tell them that he has been paying through another provider. They said that no one told them that, so as far as they're concerned, he hasn't paid in a year. I ask if they can wait a few hours and talk to him when he gets back, but they are determined and say they aren't leaving until they get in and take his gas meter. And I'm not ready to argue since they know where I live and can obviously break in very easily.

Surely this can't be legal! This is very disturbing - yeah, we feel real safe now. And apparently it's not enough to just pay your gas bill - hope this company knows that you pay it! Needless to say our landlord was upset and he's working on taking them to court. We hope he wins!

Congratulations go out to Brandi, Jon, Lindsey, and Matt who are all expecting babies next year. And there's been a new arrival in our house (well, in flat 2 that is) - Carter Giles Cawthorne was born on October 17th weighing in at 7 pounds, 12 ounces. We are very excited for all of you and we wish you the very best!

Well, there you have it - shortest update in history! Updated pictures are here - London and Unique. Until next time, take care and God bless!
